It’s tiny enough to go on trips with me and my iPhone, and will work great in rental cars. Twice bit and now shy. Two audio cables are included that should cover most applications.

Though it has a USB power which my car does but if your vehicle doesn’t you can look online or stores and find a port which connects to a cigarette lighter with the USB port, example like some aftermarket chargers for iPhones.

I have been listening to music for hours at a time without charging so battery life is not an issue. So I continued to use bbluetooth with rubber bands. When the Airblue is full of power, you can then take the little 2″ diameter flat black disc and plug airbleu of the included cables into it — a standard 3.

Upon examination, I can see that it was spot soldered into place with only an impecunious amount of solder and nothing else to mechanically hold the jack into place. There are a lot of similar solutions available for Bluetooth connections to speakers. Kanex provided one of these small black disc-like receivers for testing purposes, and it’s a handy little device for getting rid of a few more cables in your life One for myself and one a gift. Using the AirBlue I was particularly interested in using the AirBlue in my car, a Honda CR-V that has a center console between the driver and passenger seats that contains an auxiliary audio port.
