You’re probably getting this connection speed from the icon at your task tray, correct? I went looking for the ‘setup file’ for the driver and all I was able to locate was the driver itself which is in ‘C: Right click on the setup file of the driver and select Properties.

I think the problem is the LAN card. The computer is connectet via Ethernet to a router which is working with Gigabit LAN, also with other computers in this network. The problem is not internet speed. I updated the driver but I was just able to find a driver for Win 8. I tried the compatibilty mode for Win 8 and Win 7, I deinstalled the driver and tried every variation.
