WinAmp opens up, as usual, except instead of my heavy guitar riffs and aggressive bass, I’m greeted by a nice little error message: Please install proper drivers or select another device in configuration. To reset the bios, 865gf the jumper to pins 2 and 3, then back to 1 and 2 for normal operation.
Either way, I guess that trying to get into BIOS and making sure that it is enabled would be a good idea – except that I have no idea of how to do that.
I took them out of the packaging, plugged the little green cable into its appropriate port the green circular portand also took the power cord and plugged that into the outlet.

I don’t know about Vista. I have been using Altec Lansing speakers without fail or problems for quite some time and soound today decided to move on to some shiny new Logitech speakers. Answered on May 25, Now I have Windows 7 Professional on Intel gbf motherboard with all the drivers installed!
Are you an Intel Computer and Internet Expert? Of course, I have not seen everything out there. I do just that. If there is hit the esc key right then and you should see the boot sequence, and also the key s to enter the bios message. Again, I thank anyone in advance for helping me in this matter. In answer to the question, disabled would cause the issue you are talking about.

If you are wanting to try a reset, near the bios or cmos battery there should be 3 pins with a jumper across 1 and 2. Steve, could you please paste here to link of that particular file which fixed the sound problem in windows 7.
